Stop Hatin'.
For Real.
We need to stop hating. God is a God of love not of hate. It's time for us all to step up and love others.
Even if you aren't a Christian or Jesus follower (like me)- there is just way too much hate in the world. It's time to love those that need it.
You can change the world. Smile. Show people you care but helping them out or just hugging them.
It's time. So don't sit back and wait for others to make the change.
Step up.
Smile.
Hug someone... yes even that person that is just plain weird.
We all need love. So start showing it. Remember what you put out into the world comes right back to you. AKA Karma.
Until we meet again: keep is sassy- pass on some love!

Jesus Rides the Subway
I had the chance to see Third Day perform with their friend Trevor Morgan at the Agape Fest in Greenville, Illinois. Trevor performed this song and I fell in love with it. I hope you like it too!

Library Thing
Here is a link to my Library Thing> http://www.librarything.com/profile/Tifarah
On my profile page I have listed a few of my favorite books and authors. I have also included a few of the books that I am currently reading.
To list my whole collection would take months. It is so large and I am in the process of going through my collection and weeding out the books I don't like nor read.
I chose Library Thing because we had the option of using it earlier in the semester and I liked it. Plus, since I already had an account with them it was less work.
I enjoyed going through and adding books and editing the collection lists. It kinda made me feel like I was in a library processing books that were incoming. I liked it! I plan on eventually putting my entire collection on Library Thing. I don't know if it will actually happen- but that's what I am aiming for.
I don't really see how Library Thing can help out my library- but I definitely see how it can help me. With Library Thing I will be able to actually catalog my collection and get suggestions from other profiles. I'm looking forward to using this tool!
When I update my account I'll try and keep you posted- if you are interested!
Keep it sassy you crazy library people!
The End!
I have enjoyed this class. It has been challenging at times- but so very educational. I have learned so much and I am very thankful for all the knowledge that I have obtained. Yes I just used a big word! =}
I have been able to practice what I have been taught at my job in the Fortville Library. It has been a fun experience. I feel like I am a better employee for all that I have learned.
Plus, I feel so very lucky to have had such great classmates and a wonderful Instructor. Sharon has been so helpful and kind when explaining the material and the assignments. Not only that, she has been very understanding with me this semester. To say my life has been chaotic- is an understatement. She has been beyond understanding and I am so grateful to her for all the patience that she has shown.
This course has been a great one and I am very happy that I took it. I think I would have taken it even if it was optional. I enjoyed the material and exercises.
Ok, I've been rambling and need to close. To sum it all up this course has been great. I am happy. Now I must leave.
And for the final time... keep it sassy my wonderful fellow crazy library people.

Review!
I can't! It seems like just yesterday that classes started! This semester has FLOWN by!
This session was a good session. I learned some facts that weren't 100% new, but still good to know. I like the troubleshooting tips on the last page right before the review questions.
Web 2.0 projects and other stuff...
I am a bit behind in the Web 2.0 projects... I am now questioning my decision to use Second Life. It is more a pain than anything else. And library thing is very time consuming! But I signed up for them so I have every intention of following through.
I know that this week I will really be working hard on them- because I am going on vacation on Friday to Sunday. I know its a short one, but it is very much so I needed.
Where am I going? Well I'm going with some girlfriends to a two day Christian Music Festival called Agape Fest in Greenville Illinois. My favorite band of all time NEEDTOBREATHE (and yes their name is in all caps) is headlining the first day. AND we are camping out. So it's an understatement to say that I am excited and stoked for this trip! It will be beyond epic!
Ok, that's all I got. Tomorrow or rather later on today is Easter Sunday and I have church to go to. I hope everyone has a stupendous Easter!
As always- keep doin what you do you crazy library people!

Only 3 More to Go!
Aren't you excited? We only have three more weeks and class is done!! Woo hoo! I for one am ready for Summer Break! There are so many fun things that I plan on doing for the summer that I can't wait to get it started!
But that is not what I am supposed to be talking about in this post- so I'll get back on topic.
This week's subject matter: it wasn't super brand new. I found that I knew about security measures and such by my time volunteering, working and just plain hanging out in libraries. (It's all the power of perception baby! Just kidding, but not really...)
Nonetheless, I did enjoy this lesson. It was rather easy to learn and understand- for which I am very grateful. All in all I would say this session has been a successful one..
Now my projects?
I'm working very slowly it seems. I could lie but I'm not going to- my motivation level is down. I have no doubt that I will finish on time and successfully- but the journey is taking longer than I thought it would. Oh well, c'est la vie.
Hang in there- we're almost done and as always keep it sassy you crazy library people!

Web 2.0 Photo Sharing
What you may ask?
It's the long awaited picture slideshow of my beloved Fortville-Vernon Township Library- of course!
If the pictures aren't that great- I apologize. I have many talents, photography I don't think is one of them. Even in all its flawedness (I just made that word up), I hope you enjoy it!
Hang in there you crazy library people! There is more Web 2.0 to come! (Please try to contain your excitement, I don't want to have to call the riot police again!)

Session 12 Recap
This week has been CRAZY! I pretty much doubled the amount of hours I worked this week from my normal amount... I worked so much because I'm going on a mini vacation at the end of this month and I'm saving up to get a small truck. So I really needed the hours and money!
And let's just say that it is an understatement to say that I am tired.
I said that to say this:
I didn't really dig deep into this week's lesson. I tried to get into it as much as I could but I ran on pretty much 4-6 hours, if that, of sleep a night and got up early for me..so it was a bit difficult.
The information that was introduced wasn't new since we already read this week's chapter. At least I already read this week's chapter.
As for my projects I'm still working on them. I actually forgot about them briefly. I plan on finishing them up soon though.
Alright guys, I am so tired that I don't have anything witty to say.
So until next time- get some sleep you crazy library people.

Assistive Technology
Another week another update..
This week's (week 11)reading was interesting. I learned a lot about the different tools and aides that can be used to help patrons who have disabilities.
Some of the technologies were quite fascinating. Screen Reader anyone? I was impressed by the helpful tools that are out there. I liked this week's reading. I think that this week's reading will be in the top 10 of most helpful and informational of the assigned readings.
I'm extremely tired so that's gonna have to be all for me..
My bed is calling my name for a much needed Kah-nap..
As always stay sayucy you crazy library peoples!

Session 10 Recap
This week has been fun! I really enjoyed learning about the different technologies. I especially liked the screencasting. That was pretty neat!
I don't really have much to add to the discussion of this weeks topics. I think that this is the first time in a while that I actually really enjoyed the lesson. I learned so much!
I am going to talk to my Director about possibly using the screencast technology to post a how-to video. Our patrons are always asking about accessing their accounts using the website. I think that if they had something to use as a reference then it would help them. Plus its just plain cool! :D
Another thing that was really cool and I enjoyed this week was our Wimba Classroom session. I have never used anything like it before. I enjoyed the experience and the conversation. This class is my favorite in regards to instructors and class! I hope you feel the same!
In regards to my Web 2.0 projects, nothing has changed since last week. I've been busy and just haven't gotten around to them this week. I will be finished soon though! I can't wait to share them!
Alrighty then folks, I should be leaving ya'all and hittin the sack! Church is early in the morning!
Stay sassy and tres cool you loco library people!
Wimba Pronto Classroom Session
I want to say thank you to all of you for your supportive words! They really put me at ease! I seriously was crazy nervous!! :D
I was nervous when I made it so please forgive my stumblings! Thanks again!
By the way: my weekly review is coming up!
Til next time you crazy library people. :D

I am so excited!
I just finished taking the picture for my album! I can't wait to share them with all ya'all!

Question for You
But before we get to the question I need to tell you a story.
I work at a school part time when I am not at my beloved library. I have developed a rapport with the school's librarian. She is quite amazing actually and has played a role in my decision to indulge my passion for all things library related. She offered great advice and I am very thankful for and to her.
Well, since I have this rapport, when I have a free moment I try to visit her in the library. One day I was in the library when a group of kids were there. A volunteer was helping the students check their books out. One little boy brought this big book to the desk and the volunteer looked at the big book then the little boy and said this, "Oh this book is too hard for you, let's go find something smaller that you can read." I was floored and furious all at the same time. I couldn't believe that she said that! I mean who was she to judge?
That brings me to my question: Would you ever tell a child or anyone else that they couldn't read something because it was too big or hard for them? Or would you encourage them to tackle it?
I personally would never utter those words. I think that we learn best by challenging ourselves (there have been studies that have backed this up.). If that wasn't the case then why would teachers/professors assign hard text?
I also think to a child those words can be very damaging. Think about it, you are in a state of development and very impressionable, you decide to read something that looks a bit difficult, but someone tells you can't read it because its too hard. How would you feel? Good? Sad?
I think that child would feel bad and think that it was no use in trying to do difficult things because someone will be there telling him he can't do it. But that's my opinion.
I'm interested in what you think. Please le3ave me a comment.
Stay great you wonderful library people!
Web 2.0 Post
Just a quick update on my Web 2.0 projects. I am feeling pretty good about them!
I actually really like this assignment!

The projects I chose are:
-Second Life
-Picture Sharing
-Library Thing
I am currently in the process of working on all three. The one I am most excited about is the Second Life. I am a huge fan of the Sims and it reminds me of the game!
My projects will be ready soon! I can't wait to share them with you!

As always: Stay crazy you library people!
Chapter 2 Sources
What you may ask?
The end of the six week source monitoring!!
I have to say that I personally am a bit pleased with the fact that the source monitoring is over. Why? Because I kept forgetting to check them until I did my blog posts. I had them bookmarked in Delicious, in my RSS feeder and on both of the computers I use for school- but STILL forgot about them. (I did remember eventually.)Now, I have one less thing to remember in my already chaotic brain.
But enough chit chat: Let's get started with my analysis of my sources shall we? I will try to make the experience as painless as possible.
Freepint: FreePint wasn't half bad. I didn't have the problem of it not being updated regularly. Almost everytime I checked, the site had been updated. The content that FreePint offered was informational and I found it helpful. Example: FreePint wrote in their newsletter for February 17th 2011 about providing accurate and simple information to patrons. The newsletter also listed a link to a very interesting and beneficial article. I have provided the link for you at the bottom of this page. One of the subjects I am personally interested in is information literacy. FreePint gave me some interesting points on this topic. I daresay, that I may consult FreePint in the future- even though it is no longer required.
Educause: I hated this site. With a passion. No...really! I chose this source because of the catchy title: 7 Things You Should Know About. I thought, "Wow! This is going to provdie me with some interesting information! Yay!" Not yay. This source was very rarely updated- which made the point of updating on its lack of updates ridiculous. I seriously thought about dropping this source from my monitoring schedule. But alas, I decided I had already started so why stop? I decided to see it through to completion. The rare updates that occurred, didn't interest me or help me out that much. I will not ever use this source again unless asked to, nor will I recommend that anyone waste their time with it.
Finally, the piece de resistance- Disruptive Library Technology Jester: I loved this source! The author had a way of writing that captured my attention. I get bored easily (as I'm sure ya'all have noticed) but this blog really entertained me. The author provided interesting and important information plus wrote in an easy going manner. The posts were filled with other sources to gain information from. I was impressed- and that isn't something that happens often. Every post I found information and can't really pick a favorite. I do have a most interesting pick: The post from February 2, 2011. I even wrote about it. You should check it out. For easy viewing I included the link below. I will definitely be using this source in the future and highly recommend it to others in the future.

Donald Miller
If you aren't familiar with him, he is an AMAZING author! I love the way he writes, its different and very honest. Plus he's quite humorous!
I HIGHLY SUGGEST reading him. I may be a bit biased but- eh whatever! :D
So, to the point of this post...
He is running a promo or something of the sort to win a copy of his book..I am totally participating in it in the hopes that I win a copy!!
All I have to do is embed his video in my blog. So...Watch this great video!
It talks about telling a story, more specifically your life story...You just have to watch to get the full gist of it. It is really a great video and motivating. Even if you don't ever read his novels (which you really really should), you should watch it- just for its motivational message.
Watch out for the part where he states, "Conflict actually brings meaning into our story." His statement is so true. I challenge you to write it down so that you remember it when things get tough. I know I will! :D
What story are you telling? from Rhetorik Creative on Vimeo.
If you are interested in buying his book here are the links to it on Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Check him out and let me know what ya think! If you have any questions about him or his work don't hesitate to ask! Ya'all know I'm willing to share anything about literature (especially those in my top 5 :D)
As always- keep it sassy you crazy library people!
Session 8 Reflection..
Even though I have heard of all the topics, a refresher is always nice. I especially like how the book broke down the different technologies.
Oh! I forgot... I heard VoIP mentioned briefly but didn't know what it was. I found the concept interesting. I probably won't ever use it, but it is nice to know that it is out there.
I wasn't particularly interested in the internet mashups. Frankly, I don't really care. But that's just me, it doesn't mean it isn't helpful to know about.
Alright, I know its short and not really humorous... I will try to remedy that with my next post! :D
TOODLES you crazy library peoples!!
Isn't Information Delicious?
We can all agree that it is important for libraries to have a website to provide easy accessibility to our patrons. Understandably, it is harder for smaller libraries to develop these websites because of tight budgets and what not.
Well, according to Disruptive Jester, the OCLC's Innovation Lab is starting a project ot that would offer smaller libraries an inexpensive website. The prices range from $5 per month to $40 per month depending upon the modules and etc.
Disruptive Jester provided a link to the sample site: http://experimental.worldcat.org/lib/n/us.tn.loremville-public-library
Here is the link to the Disruptive Jester Site where I found the article: http://dltj.org/article/thursday-threads-2011w2/
Now moving on to Deliciousness...
I started using Delicious and was kind of interested in it, but didn't really develop a passion for it? At first it was cool and everything, but I found signing in evertyime I wanted to access my bookmarks really quite annoying. I didn't really use it a lot for my research. I bookmarked my information sites, but I used my RSS feeder more for the information than I did Delicious.
I am currently using Delicious for Academic purposes, more specifically this class, but that's all I'm using it for. I probably won't use it much in my personal life. I may end up using it in my professional life.
Overall I found this project to be interesting. It really opened my eyes to the resources and tools that are available to consolidate the amount of information we access via Web. I liked learning about the different topics that are becoming discussions in the library world. I know that I will definitely benefit from all the knowledge I have acquired and all the knowledge I will acquire.
(Normally I would close with my normal tag line, but I think the seriousness of this assignment warrants otherwise. Just imagine that it is here! :D)

Reflection...
I actually really enjoyed this session. I learned a lot.
This session goes with the information that I am learning in my other two classes. It was really neat to see how they are going hand in hand.
Actually this week in my technology class (just a general requirement class) we talked about the information that we learned last week in this class. So it was neat to be able to kind of already know what I was learning about before I started reading my text book.
I'm going to be able to apply the information that I learned this week and last week at my job. Our library is getting ready to try and upgrade a bit. One of the things that we may be looking into is setting up our network a bit different and switchin up the catalog.
I learned alot of helpful information and actually enjoyed what I was learning this week. I hope next week is just as great!
Stay happy you crazy library people!
Session 7 Source Checkup
What time you may ask?
SOURCE CHECKUP TIME!!
Please please control yourselves. Don't party too hard- save it for the end of the semester! :D
Let's just dive right in, shall we?
FreePint:
According to Google Reader nothing new has been posted. When I checked out the website I didn't find anything new and substantial.
So moving on...
Disruptive Jester:
This site was updated since I last checked. It had a really great post from
Thursday. I really enjoyed and want to share with you so that you can enjoy it too. It was also partly sad be Hickory, a beloved companion for 20 years of the feline kind passed away. It's always sad when a kitty dies..
But back on point: (yes I know, I did it again! Sorry! :{
Here is the link: http://dltj.org/article/thursday-threads-2011w8/
And finally...
Educause:
Nothing new. Really not a surprise. I'm not liking this site- but I'll stick with it.
Ok so that's it for me. Check with ya'all later you crazy library people! (I don't care if its cheesy I like it!! :D
How Competent Am I?
I thought that I was not that competent when it came to searching, but found that thanks to hard work and actually doing my assignments, I am a competent searcher.
I'll break it down.
Connecting:
This is absolutely no problem for me.
Printing/Downloading search results information:
I better know how to do this, since I do get asked to help with this task ALL THE TIME!
Other means of access:
I am comfortable with all 3 tasks, but I could use some improvement on using my own personal library account.
Public Searching:
I am not super confident in my abilities, but I know with time and practice I will do better.
Staff Mode SEarching:
I am very confident in my abilities here. I perform lots of searches for the patrons at my library during every shift I work. I have learned nice little tricks to use when helping patrons.
Overall I would have to say that I am pretty confident in my competence.
Alrighty then folks! Stay sassy and amazing you crazy library people!

Session 6 Source Check Up
Original right?
For this week:
Free Pint: Had a nice little article from the Director Of Content. Wasn't really that interesting.
Disruptive Jester: Had an updated post about the issue of possibly running out of IP addresses that I mentioned a bit ago. Also, he mentioned something about a contest that if you are curious in you will just have to check it out. It sounds pretty awesome if you ask me!
7 Things You Should Know: Had an interesting article about iPad apps for learning. If you are interested in that kind of thing I recommend you check it out.
SO there ya have it..Updates on my sources. I may actually drop my 7 Things source, it isn't really updated as often as I would like.
Well..I am off to go complete more of my assigned learning material that I have so shamefully neglected.
Ya'all have a great day and stay crazy!
Totally Not Boring Post for Session 6!!
As you can tell by my really awesome title- this post is NOT boring.. Well it may be but whatever.
You may not like what I have to say about session 6's topic. I HATED it! I really could care less about networking or coaxial wires and whatnot. I know that I will have to know all the ins and outs for my job- but still. I just wanted to scream reading the reading.
Seriously...
But in life we must do things we don't want to. And I didn't want to do this but I did and learned some new and important information in the process.
I hope that I will be able to really get into the text and such next week.
And Sharon my dislike of the class's work is not a reflection of your teaching!
Ok, I've said my peace now I must be leaving you all... Please no tears! We shall meet again!
Stay sassy and cool you crazy library peoples!

Valentine's Day
I really don't like Valentine's Day. I really don't see the use for it but I digress.
This Valentine's Day hasn't been super horrible. So I am going to spread the love and share something that I totally love.
I know it's cheesy and they have a bad rep.- But I totally love this song!
PLUS
I think these guys are super cute!
Stay crazy you library people!
Thanks
(I know the name is cheesy but I said it as a joke and it just stuck!)
I want to say thanks to all the kind and encouraging words you have given me on my posts. I think some of them are crazy- but surprisingly you like them. I may come off as confident but sometimes I need the encouragement of others. So thanks! I really do appreciate it! If there is ever anything ya'all need- advice on homework, etc.- let me know!
Oh and I do have a more serious blog if you are interested. Here's the link:

Until next time- stay awesome you crazy library people!

Week 5 Blog Post
I don't really have a whole lot of thoughts on this week's topics. I found the reading to be a bit boring. I knew most of what I was reading and didn't really get a whole lot out of it.
I didn't find that the readings/topics this week challenged me that much. And as much as I may complain, I really do like to be challenged. I learn best when I really have to think something over. I didn't have to this week, so like I said I was a bit bored.
BUT
Bored does not = bad. It was nice to have a bit of an easier work load this week (in my own opinion) because I have gotten pretty behind on my other two classes. Overall this week has been crazy so the reprieve was nice.
I am still using my delicious account. I have to say that I like it. Also I am crazy about the RSS feeder! It's amazing! I love having all the latest and such on one page. Cuts down search time significantly.
I checked my source- Disruptive Library Technology Jester- from here on out referred to as DLTJ. DLTJ had an interesting post about running out of IP addresses. If you are interested follow this link: http://dltj.org/article/ipv4-ipv6-transition/
I checked Freepint and Educause but didn't find anything new.
Ok folks, that's all I have for today. I am sorry that it wasn't the normal crazy posts that I am known for.
Stay sassy and bookish you crazy library people!

Project Post
So here it is...
(drum roll please!)
4.2 Keep a log for a week of questions asked at computer stations by library users. Choose five “how to” questions and create a mock video or audio tape or written script showing how you would work with users to help them find the specific information or skills they requested.
I apologize for leaving all ya'all hanging. I know that you were just dying to know which one it was that I chose. Well now you can rest easy knowing that the suspenseful wait is over! 0_0
So.
Consider yourselves informed! :)

Post about Sources
As most of you are probably aware my sources are: Seven Things You Should Know About, Disruptive Library Jester and Free Pint.
I checked out 7 Things and there wasn't anything new since I picked it for one of my sources.
Disruptive Jester had something very interesting. It mentioned that U.S. Senate has a bill proposing an internet kill-switch. There was mention that it could create something like what happened in Egypt. I would suggest that any of you who haven't really paid attention to the Egypt situation go and take a look. It's pretty interesting stuff- and scary on some points. My prayers are with them- but I have gotten off topic. (You really should be used to this by now, it happens a lot and I daresay it will happen again! :)
Free Pint mentioned that the writer was riding on the trainand saw kindles, ipads and other such technology being used. I didn't spend that much time reading and reviewing this site as I didn't find it as fascinating as Disruptive Jester.
On a side note- I checked out the Discussion Board 3 Review Sharon posted. I found it quite fascinating. If you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it. I can't wait to see what she has to say about this week's DB.
And back to Egypt- just to mention it again- you really should check out whats goin on over there. And also think about the repercussions of having an internet kill switch. Food for thought- look at it, bite, chew and slowly digest. And remember information is power. The more information and education you have the better off you are.
So that's all I have for this post. Stay awesome you crazy library people! :)

RSS FEEDS!
When I chose the Google Reader- I didn't have to do any set up or anything. It was AWESOME! All I had to do was log in with my Google account and it automatically popped up with the blogs and such that I was following. Neat right?
In case you haven't ascertained from this post, I really like the RSS feeder. Thanks to our Professor for introducing us to this neato tool!
And as always until we meet again- peace out! :)

Week 3 Sources
I have not started on my source monitoring, life has been crazy lately that it just slipped my mind. I am going to start and I will make sure that I let you all know as soon as I have.
I know my normal posts are long and full of witticisms, but this week will have to be kind of bland. Life around my house has been chaotic, plus I picked up more hours at my job. I will try to be my normal upbeat self with the next post.
As normal, until we meet again you crazy library people.

Did You Notice My Cool Additions??
Yet another post- except this one is completely random and not related to anything!
I thought that my blog needed some sprucing up so I added....(drum roll) GADGETS!!! Woohoo! I know you are all stunned by my awesomeness! Just jokin'- kind of.
Notice the fish gadget. This is awesome 'cause you can feed the fish! No joke! Try it just click in the box and it will dish out fish food. It's quite cool.
On the right hand side I have humorous quotes- I mean because who doesn't love a good laugh? Or if you don't you should- it keeps you young, just sayin'. And underneath the humorous quotes are humorous animal pictures! I know TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
At the bottom is a cook it feature. I love to cook and I figured I could share that with you by putting something on my page that helps you get recipes. Enjoy!
And finally we come to the serious part of the page. On the right is a daily Psalm from the Bible. That is more for me than anyone. I am a follower of Christ and I enjoy reading his word, so this will be nice for me to look at. Next to the verse is a quote from Confucius. He was one wise guy that Confucius.
Well, that's it. I hope you like my awesome gadgets- but if you don't that's ok 'cause I like them!
You have a wonderful filled day of laughter and good stuff and I will promise the next post will be all about school.
That is all.

Wikis...
Ok, so to the questions that we are supposed to consider...
In regards to telling others or advising others on using Wikipedia, I have always told them it is a great jumping off point in research projects (or for fun). I also try to remember to tell them that the site can be edited by anyone so it's always a good idea to check the information using other trusted sources.
I personally have never edited a Wikipedia. I have seriously thought about, but have been to lazy to do it. I have thought of creating a bogus page on my best friend several times- I'm thinking it would be a great April Fool's joke. If I do I will be sure to post the link! :)
Wiki syntax, wiki syntax...I'm still not sure if I understand but I guess practice makes it perfect huh? And unfortunately I do not know HTML- but I am hoping to change this gross negligence of mine.
I think that a Wiki would be kind of cool to have for my library. But I guess a website is good enough. When I am not working at my beloved library, I work at a school after hours as a before and after school facilitator with a Recreation department. (I'm not allowed to give out the Park's or the School's information due to privacy issues.) Since the school I work at is part of a larger group of schools and connected to the Park's department I think it would be neat to have a Wiki for that. The Wiki could be a page for each school or a main page that links to other pages. Who knows- maybe this will happen.
Okay, so this concludes my very great post. I know that you all have been crazily impressed- I do try. :P
One final thought: Did anyone else think the Wikis in Plain English was funny? I totally cracked up! If all tutorials were that cool then we would all be proficient in everything!
Peace Out all you crazy library people! Until next session!

I would like to be either proficient or on my way to becoming proficient in as many areas of technology. Also I would love to be able to finally understand HTML markup and RSS languages. I have always been curious about them, but never understood them. Hopefully I will be able to meet these goals and any others I may develop.

Hey everyone! I’m Tifarah. I live in Fortville, Indiana with my grandparents, cousin, dog and cat. A cool thing about where I live is it is a small town. We literally only have one stoplight. I work at the library just a little ways away from said stoplight. I love working in a small town library because I really get to develop relationships with the patrons that come in.
Not only do I work at the library, but I work at a school in Carmel as an after school facilitator. I really enjoy working with the children. Not only am I touching their lives, but they are touching mine as well. It’s really quite cool.
In my sparse free time I like to read and listen to music. I have started to drift towards bands and authors that aren’t conventional. (Yes, I’m one of those people.) I really like music and books that really make you think.

The photo that you see was taken about a year ago. I was at Target with my best friend and we decided to try on the hats to see how “awesome” we looked. I think we looked great!
